When employees want to report suspicious emails, they click on the Moxso Report Button. The email is then forwarded to the admin or IT department and will appear in their Threat Management.
Is there a timeframe within which I should report a phishing attempt?
It's best to report phishing attempts as soon as you identify them. Timely reporting enables prompt action to mitigate potential harm and helps in the prevention of further phishing attempts.
What happens to the emails that have been reported by employees?
When an email is reported by an employee, the email will automatically be removed from the employee’s inbox. If the email is one of our phishing simulations, the employee will receive points on the platform. If the email is not sent from Moxso, it will appear in Threat Management as a potential threat. In Threat Management, admin or IT will find a comprehensive analysis of the email based on relevant metadata and threat indicators. This makes admin or IT able to swiftly identify real phishing attempts and respond accordingly.
